Located on the lower level, the radiotherapy department regroups radiotherapy and curie therapy techniques which included one of the most innovative the tomotherapy. The ICR has the most complete technical support centre of the Midi-Pyrénées region.

The radiotherapy service:

• One scanner (16 microwell strips) dedicated to radiotherapy ;

• One console « Virtual Simulation » equipped with mobile lasers ;

• A dosimeter pole with 5 Pinnacle and Tomotherapy consoles ;

• Four particle accelerators ;

• A tomotherapy device.

The curie therapy department has:

• Two Iridium 192 projectors, low speed ;

• A Iridium 192 projector, high speed ;

• Curie therapy through Iridium 192 wires ;

• Prostatic curie therapy through Iode 125 ;

• A dosimeter pole in curie therapy ;
• A protected hospitalization sector on the second level which hosts patients treated for curie therapy.
