The Biology-Pathology Medication department possesses the material and human means necessary for ICR's practitioners as well as other establishments to execute the set of biological and pathological examinations.

It is composed of:

• An anatomy and pathological cytology service;
• A medical analysis laboratory ;
• A pharmaceutical laboratory ;
• A oncogenetic laboratory;
• A haematology unit.

Research is the other main activity of the department, from research technology transfer to the operational support related to clinical studies as wells as the development more efficient analysis techniques.
